A trolley that runs through downtown Branson is now split into two separate routes.

According to a press release from Historic Downtown Branson Community Improvement District, the Orange Route contains eight stops in historic downtown, the Branson Convention Center, Branson Landing and Lakeside RV Park. The Green Route serves “upper downtown,” according to the release, with stops at hotels, stores, restaurants and Taneyhills Library.

Cris Bohinc, administrator for the Historic Downtown Branson Community Improvement District and Branson alderwoman, said two trolleys will operate on the Orange Route and another will handle the Green Route.

“It made the most sense to have the route start and stop at Liberty Plaza when they decided to split it into an upper and lower route,” Bohinc said.

Each trolley will also have flags on their front bumper to help riders identify which route the vehicle is running, according to the press release.

The downtown trolleys run from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. For information, visit ridesparky.com.
