Maintain Attendee Engagement with Event Production

With the intensity of the digital age, keeping the attention of your attendees can be a challenge. While the connectivity certainly possesses benefits to the overall meeting experience, maintaining engagement with your audience is key to a successful and thought-provoking meeting.

We’ve often worked with clients who request just that – an event and environment that will keep engagement at peak levels. Content alone may not be enough for attendees, so planners need to produce an event that attracts and maintains attention from start to finish.

At the Branson Convention Center, we work closely with our partners at Liberty Exposition to deliver events that attendees and planners consider a production. A production elicits a far more engaged crowd and a more memorable experience.

Dave Loftin, Convention Services Manager at Liberty Exposition, explains that planners are thinking in terms of rigging, lighting, tagging and speakers. “They say they want a show. So, we determine the most economical way possible to get them what their attendees want,” says Loftin.

Liberty Expo and the Branson Convention Center work to package opportunities to tailor the needs our event planners. We’ve found there is no need too large or small.

Loftin confirms, “We can figure out how to make it happen. Difficult is immediate. Impossible just take a little longer.”

Because of outlying restrictions, such as timing or budget, meeting planners may not be convinced all events can be a production. From creating an inviting and compelling entryway to setting up a theatrical center stage, there are ways to capture and maintain attention of attendees.
