Sales Manager Lindsey McQueary honored as a 2015 Trailblazer and Industry Leader

LindseyAfter obtaining her degree in marketing, McQueary served as corporate sales manager for a gourmet catering company in Chicago, where she worked with many Fortune 500 companies on day-to-day meetings, as well as large catered events. McQueary later moved back to her home state of Missouri, finishing a second degree in hospitality management from Missouri State University. After graduation, she was hired as event manager at Branson Convention Center, later moving into a sales manager position where she’s worked with several state and national associations.

How has the meetings industry changed during your career?
This is an evolving industry, which is a big part of the reason I love it. Groups are more environmentally conscious, food is now a highlight at events and social media marketing is a focus. My clients want to know how we’re doing our part to reduce waste and conserve energy, how food is prepared and where it comes from, and how they can incorporate phone applications into their events.

Always be over prepared.
